School Direct salaried

We offer School Direct salaried QTS training courses in partnership with the Cambridge Teaching Schools Network SCITT (CTSN SCITT).

Courses available for a September 2019 start will be:

  • Secondary Chemistry

  • Secondary Computing

  • Secondary English

  • Secondary Mathematics

  • Secondary Modern Foreign Languages

  • Secondary Physics

  • Primary - General - Flexible Salaried Route (accelerated/part time)

 

We offer a School Direct salaried QTS training course in partnership with Suffolk & Norfolk SCITT with the option of PGCE

Course available for a September 2019 start will be:

  • Primary - General - Flexible Salaried Route (accelerated/part time)

 

Entry Criteria

Secondary Salaried School Direct route 

To be eligible to apply for the salaried secondary school direct route you will need the following:

  • A minimum of a 2.2 degree and at least 50% of your degree should be in the subject you wish to teach
  • A 'C' grade or above in English and Maths GCSE
  • To have passed the QTS skills tests in English and Maths before starting the course (not before interview)

Primary Salaried School Direct route 

To be eligible to apply for the salaried primary school direct route you will need the following:

  • A minimum of a 2.2 degree.
  • A 'C' grade or above in English, Maths and Science GCSE
  • To have passed the QTS skills tests in English and Maths before starting the course (not before interview)

 

 

Fees

You do not pay any fees on the School Direct salaried scheme. Instead, you will be employed by one of our alliance schools for a maximum of one year.
